Unplug Illinois - Chalk the Walk -and- Flying 4 Kids kite event
7th Annual Unplug Illinois Day at Wauconda Park District's Cook Park!
Wauconda Park District, along with park districts across Illinois, will be celebrating UnPlug Illinois Day on Saturday, July 12.
Celebrate with us and chalk it up in this sidewalk chalk drawing contest at Cook Park. Register one person per family to reserve your sidewalk square ”canvas” to draw amazing chalk artwork! Chalk is provided.
Also taking place at Cook Park - FLYING 4 KIDS kite fly event!
Keep your eyes on the skies! Wauconda Park District is hosting a fun, family-oriented kite fly as part of the Illinois Association of Park District's (IAPD) statewide "Flying 4 Kids". The event will feature a Kite Contest and much more! Participants are encouraged to bring their own kites for this fun, leisurely kite fly.
