Flying 4 Kids (all ages/family friendly) Free to participate but must register
Keep your eyes on the skies on April 18, 2026. The Park District of Wauconda is hosting a fun, family-oriented kite fly as part of the Illinois Association of Park District’s (IAPD) statewide “Flying 4 Kids”. The event will feature Kite Contest and much more! Participants are encouraged to bring their own kites for this fun, leisurely kite fly. Free to participate, but must register.
