52nd IPRA Championship Rodeo

TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE GATE...IPRA Championship Rodeo comes to Wauconda July 11 & 12
The Wauconda Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the IPRA Championship Rodeo for the 52nd consecutive year.    The only Rodeo in Lake County! This year’s Rodeo bursts out of the gate on Saturday, July 11th at 5:00 p.m. with pre-rodeo fun including a Mechanical Bull, Food Booths, Beer Garden and Merchandise Vendors. The Rodeo performances begin at 7:00 p.m. and include dazzling routines by the Midwest Renegade Equestrian Drill Team, flashy trick riders and fun antics from the rodeo clowns mixed in with the six exciting rodeo events: Saddle Bronc Riding, Bareback Bronc Riding, Bull Riding, Cowgirl Barrel Racing, Steer Roping and Tie-Down Roping.  Enjoy the live country music into the evening with “Sixes and Sevens”.  The band will be performing before and after the Rodeo and briefly during intermission.

The fun returns on Sunday, July 12th when gates open at 1:00 p.m. for “Family Day”. The pre-rodeo festivities feature a free Petting Zoo, $3 Pony Rides also a kids Moonwalk and Climbing Wall. The five delicious food booths will be open as well as the Beer Garden, Mechanical Bull and all Vendors. Then, at 3:00 p.m. the IPRA Championship Rodeo begins with the return of the Midwest Renegade Equestrian Drill Team, specialty acts, and professional cowboys and cowgirls from across the country that will round up competitive rodeo excitement for fans of all ages.
The action takes place at the Golden Oaks Equestrian Center located on Case Road and IL Route 12 (Rand Road) in Wauconda, one mile north of IL Route 176.
Rodeo tickets purchased at the gate are $15 for adults and $6 for children ages 5-11. Children 4 and under are FREE! Parking is $7 per vehicle. Starting June 1st advance discount Rodeo tickets are available online at www.WaucondaAreaChamber.org.  Advance discount tickets are also available at the Wauconda Area Chamber of Commerce office (100 N. Main Street, Wauconda), Wauconda Community Bank (495 W. Liberty Street, Wauconda) and Three Amigas (450 W. Liberty Street, Wauconda) through July 6, 2015.
