DESCRIPTION:At the Silver Creek Conservation District/Prairieview Education Center\, we will walk about 1.5 miles on easy to moderate terrain while we learn about this site and its springtime plant and animal residents with McHenry County Conservation District staff. Please dress for the weather and hiking. Masks and social distancing are required. Program will be held rain or shine unless there is severe weather. Participants will be notified in advance of any program cancellation.\n\n \n\nWe will meet at the Prairieview Education Center parking lot. Directions from Wauconda/Island Lake\, take 176 going west\, cross the Fox River\, in about 1 mile turn left onto Buhl Road\, then turn left onto Behan Road -- 2112 Behan Rd\, Crystal Lake\, IL 60014.
