DESCRIPTION:Many people have discovered the joy of watching birds recently as they seek safe activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. "Birding McHenry/Lake County: Backyards and Beyond" helps newcomers identify bird species and learn more about the ways local birds adapt to their environment.  \n\nThose who sign up will receive a small bag of birdseed and resources to make your own bird feeder at home - one per family.   We will notify you when these are ready to pick up.\n\nThe talk includes tips for attracting bird through feeders and garden plants and suggestions for the best places to look for birds in McHenry County.
